Sunday 22nd July 2018, 10.30am-3.30pm

Aberlady Bay Local NR, East Lothian

56.009209, -2.859444

This is a repeat of last year's outing, which was heavily affected by rain, so we are hoping for better weather this time. The objective is to see Small Skippers, which have only been recorded in this part of the world over the last five years. We should also see Dark Green Fritillaries, which are well established here.

Meet at the car park at the wooden bridge over the burn onto the reserve. (grid ref. NT472806) at 10.30 am.

This event is taking place during the Big Butterfly Count, so why not download an ID chart and do a 15-minute count of the butterflies you can see?
