Just a short walk over the Cambridgeshire border, Old Sulehay Forest is a fragment of the ancient Rockingham Forest, a royal hunting forest that extended from Wansford to Kettering. Now managed by the BCN Wildlife Trust, this habitat plays host to a number of the UK's less common species – including Grizzled Skipper, Dingy Skipper and Green Hairstreak. Please join us for a guided walk around Stonepit Quarry and Ring Haw to see these and other spring butterflies.

Parking (courtesy of BCN Wildlife Trust) is by arrangement at Ring Haw Field Station. This is accessed along the track from the sharp bend off Sulehay Road near the village of Yarwell. Please contact Susannah O’Riordan (email: @email) prior to the day in order to confirm numbers for parking.
