Work Party at Rough Bank - mainly scrub and tree thinning.
Our conservation work parties are very sociable events and you work at your own pace with no pressure. We suggest you bring a warm drink, lunch (or not if you want to leave before), warm, waterproof clothes and boots.
Hopefully there won’t be any restrictions on numbers due to Covid so you don’t need to book a place but we would appreciate it if you could let Sue Smith know by phone or email if you plan on attending. This helps us plan the work and the tools we need to take.
Meet at the car park at SO 914087, about 0.5km south of The Camp village.
Please bring your own gloves and hand tools (bow saws and loppers) if possible. However, branch tools will be available but they are not to be swapped during a session. They will be cleaned after/before each work party and hand sanitiser will be available in the first aid box. Social distancing must be maintained at all times. Work party leaders will be aware of the full risk assessment arrangements.
