PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO ONGOING ADVERSE WEATHER
If you have tested positive for Covid in the previous 7 days, or you are showing symptoms, please do not attend.
We will walk from the car park at the south end of Wilmington village up onto Windover Hill past the mysterious sentinel of the Downs, the Long Man of Wilmington. We will adventure into the hidden valley to find the last refuge for the Grayling Butterfly.
The terrain is very steep and with some challenging sections. There is a flint path for part of it which zig-zags across the hillside. Please bring water and wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothes.
Children are welcome, but this event is not suitable for very young children. Dogs will not be allowed at this event due to livestock grazing.
There will be the opportunity to stop and take photographs, so please remember to bring your cameras and binoculars.
Numbers will be capped for this event, so to book a place, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
