You are invited to register and attend a free one-day conference on butterflies, moths and conservation at the Environment Centre on the Lancaster University Campus just south of Lancaster on Saturday 26th October 2024. There will be a full programme of speakers from within and outside the university with opportunities for questions and discussions. The highlight will be presentations from up to 10 students on their latest undergraduate, masters and doctorate research on butterflies, moths and conservation in the north west.
There are state of the art facilities in a 200-seat lecture theatre with space nearby for discussions, networking, displays, second-hand book sales and refreshments. This is the sixth conference: they are held every two years and are usually fully booked in advance. For further information and to register your place(s) email [email protected] Parking nearby is free and entrance is free but you may wish to purchase refreshment or bring your own food and drink. Please check in at the desk in the Atrium between 9.00 and 9.30. There will be mid-morning, lunch and mid-afternoon breaks and the conference will close at 16.45.
