Amazing Amphibians!

Meander with Matt & Ruth from The Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust on this interesting and informative walk learning about a variety of amazing amphibians. By attending this fantastic walk, your identification skills will improve, and you will also learn about habitat management and the ecology of amphibians.

Butterflies, Dragonflies & Day-Flying Moths
On this guided and walk, Dave from the Butterfly Conservation and you can go searching for beautiful butterflies, dragonflies and day-flying moths. As the days get warmer, we will see which insects are ‘on the wing’ and putting on a display. Come along and learn about how these beautiful insects are an important part of the UK’s wildlife ecosystem and improve your identifications skills.

What's That Bird?

What's that bird? Guided Bird Walk
Join Owen from Natural England for a guided bird walk through Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe Dunes National Nature Reserve to learn more about birds that are currently visiting the reserve, gain tips and tricks on identifying birds and what bird is calling.

Family Exploration Day

Come and see what’s washed up at this coastal reserve in our family fun event. Test your beachcomber skills in the Strandline ABC, explore the dunes through the wildlife treasure hunt and make a coastal character to take home. Treasure hunts run on the hour. Learn how sand dunes are formed, build your own bird’s nest and to calm down before you leave, listen to the specially written fairy story of how the tides work.
