On Tuesday 6th of August we will be running a joint event with National Trust For Scotland at Ben Lawers NNR, to look for some rare moths.
Moth morning: join us between 8am and 10pm to see what moths can be found in the moths traps which we will set the evening before. We particularly hope to find the rare Yellow-ringed Carpet moth, a species found in mountainous areas and known from Ben Lawers.
Afternoon walk: join us between 1.30pm and 4pm for a guided walk on the trails at Ben Lawers, when we will be looking for the Heath Rivulet, another rare day-flying moth found at Ben Lawers.
