A special two-night trapping event lead by Tom Prescott to look specifically for Lunar Yellow Underwing in the only Scottish Site where it has been recorded in the past.

Volunteers are sought to help manage actinic heath traps and MV skinner traps at a series of set locations along the coastal fringe of Tentsmuir forest. Those with their own equipment are encouraged to come along with it to support the effort.

It is likely the by-catch will be of extreme interest too, with many coastal specialist species expected to be caught.  Trap contents will be examined and displayed each morning for anyone to inspect during a special hour long reveal in the main car park between 0900 - 1000.
