Grayling Butterfly in the Brecks – in decline or under recorded?

Many of us enjoyed Sharon Hearle’s talk on Zoom about the Marsh Carpet moth and I’m delighted to tell you that she will be giving us another talk, this time entitled "Grayling Butterfly in the Brecks – in decline or under recorded?" on Wednesday 05 May 2021 at 19:30.

The Zoom meeting will start at 19:15 to allow everyone to get connected and have a bit of a chat first.

The talk will start at 7.30pm and there will be an opportunity to ask questions. Zoom has become a familiar way of communicating to many of us during the pandemic and for those who haven’t yet used it, there is nothing to fear!

Online joining instructions

To help us ensure that the presentation runs smoothly, there are a few tips to help you along the way.

Before the Presentation

You need to have Zoom installed on your device which ideally will have a camera and microphone. Please check that you are running the latest version of Zoom:

1. If you don’t have Zoom installed already, open webpage, Download Center - Zoom and follow the instructions on screen.

2. Once you have ‘Zoom’ installed you should be able to join the meeting. For guidance on how to join a meeting go to the Help Centre Joining a meeting – Zoom Help Center. You have the option to join a test meeting to familiarise yourself with how Zoom works.

Joining the Presentation

You can sign in from 7.15pm, 15 minutes before the talk begins. This will allow time for a general chat and any help needed with connection problems.
