Come and help us with some vegetation clearance today, which all helps towards creating and maintaining butterfly habitat - all tools and training will be provided, along with tea and biscuits!

We will be clearing the vegetation along the fence line, getting it all ready for when we want to remove the fence. Once we have done this, we'll be able to widen the existing woodland ride, creating more habitat for the butterflies and other species that use it.

Please wear sturdy footwear and clothing you don’t mind getting dirty and bring a packed lunch with you.

Please also let the event leader, Susannah O'Riordan,  know if you’re planning on coming along, as this enables her to bring enough tools and to contact you if there are any last minute changes. Email @email or call: 01780 444067.

The day will run from 10am until 3.30pm, but you can stay for as little or as long as you like.

Everyone is to meet next to the Visitor’s Centre, Top Lodge, NN17 3BB.

This is a joint work party with the Forestry Commission.
