Join us for our annual Northern Brown Argus survey at Lundie Craigs. We will survey for this priority species by searching for and counting the eggs.  We can show you how to recognize the eggs if you have not been before.  We will also be looking out for other Lepidoptera. The event will be led by Glyn Edwards and Cathy Caudwell of the East of Scotland Branch. Beginner and experienced surveyors all welcome.

Meet at NO263360, the Tullybaccart car park, which is on the left side of the A923 Dundee-Coupar Angus road as you head North (about 10 km from Dundee).  Please ring or email so we know to expect you. The walk to and from the site will be approximately 2.5 to 3 km along a rough track. We will carry out the survey on a steeply sloping vegetated hillside. Remember to bring good outdoor gear including waterproofs and a packed lunch. A hand lens would also be useful. We expect to return about 3 pm.
