Yew Tree Grange garden in Derbyshire will be opened by Garden Owners Chris and Sheila Ragg on  Saturday 17 July 10:30am - 4:30pm, booking is essential please.

A south facing butterfly haven. Mini 'meadows' of various grasses for the 'browns' and Golden Skippers. Extensive nectar plants attract 22 butterfly species.  

Refreshments for sale. No wheelchair access (hillside), no dogs or pets please. 

Price: £3 adult entry only.  Tours available, £5 for 2 adults and children. Booking is essential, please contact 078894 13057.

Directions: Parking in front of grey double garage. Entrance via gate.

Directions coming from Matlock on the A6: Follow the A6 straight on through Darley Dale centre you will see a Medical Centre on your left, keep straight on for approximately 3/4 mile.  Turn right just after The Grouse pub onto Whitworth Road. Follow Whitworth Road uphill for about 3/4 mile.  After the 30mph sign, go past Lumb Lane on your right then about 10 yards on your left park in the space in front of 2 grey door double garages. Yew Tree Grange is behind these garages. If you start to wind downhill you have gone too far.

Directions from Bakewell on the A6: Follow the A6 through Rowsley then for about 3/4 mile towards Darley Dale. 30mph limit denotes start of Darley Dale, you will see Country Store and garage on your left, then immediately take left turn onto Northwood Lane. Follow Northwood Lane uphill for almost half a mile. The road goes very steep and narrow, keep straight on and follow bend round to right. after about 10 yards you will see parking spaces on the right in front of 2 grey door double garages. Yew Tree Grange is behind these garages. If you start to wind downhill you have gone too far.
