Join us at Mabie Forest where we will be working in conjunction with Forestry and Land Scotland to manage the habitat along the forest roads for Pearl-bordered Fritillary butterfly.

The forest is home to a good colony of Pearl-bordered Fritillary, which is one of the UK's fastest declining species, as well as providing habitat for Dark Green Fritillary and Forester Moth.

The work suits all abilities, but you need a steady footing as we will be working on and walking across uneven terrain.

Start: 10.30am at Mabie Forest (We'll give you directions)
Finish: 3pm at Mabie Forest

Bring: Water, lunch (hot drink?), wellies or sturdy waterproof walking boots and work clothes - including waterproofs. Be prepared for cold conditions and bring warm hat, fleece etc....and a sense of humour!

Please let us know you're coming by contacting David Hill on: [email protected]
