Join us for our Autumn Gathering of Butterfly Conservation supporters in Scotland!

Date & time: Saturday 19th October 2024
Booking: This event will be held in-person and streamed live over Zoom. There is a £15 cost to attend the in-person event, and the cost includes a hot lunch. We are not charging Zoom attendees, but hope that people who attend this way will consider making a donation of £5 to cover the costs of the technical support.
Free student places: we are able to offer free tickets to a limited number of students to attend this event, and pay for up to £20 of travel costs. If you're a student and would like a free ticket, email Anthony on [email protected] to register.
In-person event: Online bookings have now closed as we have very few tickets left. If you'd still like to attend you can pay at the door - just contact Anthony on [email protected] in advance to book your space though.

This event will be a chance to hear about our work in Scotland and opportunities for you to get involved. Speakers and topics include: Our work on threatened species in Perthshire and beyond; Efforts to conserve the Marsh Fritillary butterfly; The search for the rare Talisker Burnet moth; Inspiring volunteer stories from Fife; Macro-photography workshop for moths and butterflies; A roundup of notable butterfly and moth sightings in 2024.
We will also have live moths to display at lunchtime, from traps all over Scotland! We will have a variety of sales and information stalls.
The £15 cost of booking will include a hot lunch, tea and coffee on arrival and in the afternoon.
Parking and transport: more detailed information on transport and parking will be sent before the event. More information about parking in Perth can be found here, with options such as the South Inch Car Park being 10 minutes walk from the venue and costing about £6 for the day. Perth train station is also about a 10-minute walk away.
