POSTPONED DUE TO BAD WEATHER. THIS EVENT HAS NOW MOVED TO 28TH JANUARY -  please see new event details here.

Please join us to help clear scrub (blackthorn, willow, and brambles) to improve habitat for Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary and other wildlife along the shores of Wimbleball Lake.

We will be meeting in the car park at the activity centre at Wimbleball Lake, where there will be the option to car share slightly nearer to site, or take the 20minute stroll along the lakeside footpath.

Tools, gloves, and guidance will be provided. We hope to have a bonfire so please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and sturdy shoes or boots. Biscuits will be provided, but please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink if you'd like to stay all day.

Booking isn't essential, however it is useful for our planning if you are able to let Megan know you are hoping to attend via the contact details provided. We may have to postpone if heavy rain or strong winds are forecast; if in doubt, please contact Megan before leaving.

This is a partnership event led by Butterfly Conservation, South West Lakes Trust, and Exmoor National Park Authority; made possible by the Heritage Funded 'All the Moor Butterflies' project.
