All are welcome to join Butterfly Conservation, Exmoor National Park, and the South West Lakes Trust at this joint work party to clear blackthorn and other scrub from an important Small Pearl-bordered site on the edge of the beautiful Wimbleball Lake.

We will be meeting and parking at the Wimbleball Lake Activity Centre at 9.30am. From here we will need to either car share or take the scenic walk to the work site. Tools, gloves, goggles (blackthorn can be quite nasty), and refreshments will be provided. Please bring your own lunch, waterproofs, and plenty to drink. Long sleeves, trousers, and sturdy boots are essential.

This event is part of the All the Moor Butterflies project. We would appreciate it if you could let us know you are planning on coming so we can ensure we bring enough tools/refreshments. Please contact Megan on the details provided.

In the case of severe weather we may need to cancel. If in any doubt please contact Megan before travelling.
