A walk along the peaceful rugged Exmoor coast with stunning views towards Porlock Weir.

Target species: Grayling, Dark Green Fritillary, Silver-washed Fritillary as well as Comma, Meadow Brown and Gatekeeper

Directions: Meet at National Trust car park in Bossington village at OS Grid ref SS 897 480. Please note this is a pay and display car park and according to the NT website it is £1 for 2 hours, £3.00 all day. Free parking for National Trust members.

Information that applies to all our guided walks

There is no charge for the walks. Children and beginners are especially welcome. No dogs please as some of the sites have livestock on them.

Except where indicated, all walks start promptly at 11.00 am; please take care to arrive in good time.  They are taken at an easy pace and end around 1.00 - 1.30 pm. 

Many sites include steep, rough or wet ground so stout shoes, boots or wellies are recommended. Please inform the walk leader if you have health problems that might affect you on the walk.
