Photo competition

At our Spring (zoom) meeting, we moved the always popular photo competition online which was successful.

We've decided we will do the same for this meeting, but with the most popular photos being displayed at the Members' Day for the final vote.

We encourage each branch member to submit their favourite (lepidoptera) photograph from 2021. This can be of any species of Lepidoptera and any lifecycle stage, taken in the Somerset & Bristol area.

Information on how to submit an entry (entries only accepted between 1st & 13th November) is available on the branch website

Viewing & Voting

Even if you don't want to submit an entry, we would like everyone to have a chance or viewing and voting for their favourite.

Viewing & Voting will open on the 15th November.  (see branch website for details)

The winning photo (and finalists) will be included in a future edition of Arion and may be posted on BC Somerset social media sites.
