After the AGM we will have two brilliant talks. First, we will hear from Emma Pestridge, Kent's Magnificent Moths project engagement officer. This is a three year project in East Kent that aims to help save and celebrate some of the UK's rarest and most beautiful moths, including Fiery Clearwing, Bright Wave and Sussex Emerald. Then there will be a longer talk from BC's Phil Sterling about his work creating habitats for butterflies and moths in urban landscapes through the Building Sites for Butterflies project, a national programme encouraging creation and management of amenity grasslands for wildlife.
The timings will be roughly as follows:
|7pm - 7.30pm||AGM|
|7.30 - 8pm||Emma Pestridge: Kent's Magnificent Moths|
|8pm - 9pm||Phil Stirling: Building Sites for Butterflies|
