A Field Meeting organised by the Upper Thames Section of Butterfly Conservation and Shotover Wildlife under the auspices of Oxford Nature Week.
A very interesting habitat consisting of acidic grassland, ancient woodland, and blackthorn scrub. We hope to see the rare Black Hairstreak as well as early summer species.
Meet at Shotover car park, Old Road (east end), Headington, OX3 8TA. Grid Ref SP564062. Ordnance Survey map Landranger 164.
It is advisable to bring a packed lunch.
