Everyone welcome to a moth trap evening at Ravensroost Wood to celebrate National Moth Night.  Free family event.

A wide range of moth species will hopefully be caught and shown to the public.  This is an ideal event for children interested in wildlife.  Owls may be heard and bats may also be seen. It may be useful to bring a torch and wear warm clothes and boots as it may turn chilly later in the evening.

Ravensroost Wood reserve is located about 1.5 miles north of Brinkworth. From Royal Wootton Bassett take the B4042 Brinkworth and Malmesbury Road. Take first right after the motorway underpass, onto the B4696 signposted to Ashton Keynes and Cricklade and follow it northwards. After two miles take the second left signposted to Garston. Go straight on at next cross roads (after a further mile) and Ravensroost car park is just under 0.5 miles on right.
