Meet in the Wildlife Trust car park - we should have the gates open so that volunteers can park close to the interpretation hut and leave the main car park for visitors. This is on the single-track road between Brampton and Grafham villages.
We will be layering Blackthorn to keep it growing vigorously for the Black Hairstreak butterflies, also coppicing and felling any shade trees in the chosen glade.
It can be wet and muddy at this time of year, and the blackthorn scrub is quite thorny, so don't wear your Sunday best!
