NI Butterfly monitoring workshop (Maurice Hughes)

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Butterfly Conservation. Our wonderful volunteers monitor threatened species, manage habitat in all weathers and spread the word about why butterflies and moths are so important.

It is essential we support them and provide further opportunities for others to get involved in our work. One such way is through the All-Ireland Butterfly Atlas, a new project that will build on previous mapping projects to become a vital reference source on where species are struggling and conservation work is required. You can help us reach new volunteers and provide them with the training and tools they need to reveal how butterflies are faring in this previously under-recorded landscape.

Donate today to recruit and support new people who can help us to protect butterflies and moths in Northern Ireland.

By supporting this project and others like it, your donation will be worth at least twice the amount with match funding.
