Public at a butterfly community event

Welcome

Here you will find all you need to complete the training module for Events and Engagement. If you are an Events volunteer (you provide support at events) then you only need to complete Part 1. If you are involved in organising and leading events, or co-ordinating a full programme of events then you need to complete Part 1 and then Part 2.

You can work your way through the content below in your own time, accessing either the video or text version of the resources; the content is the same for both.

At the end, please complete the Training Recap to self-assess your learning and to let us know that you’re ready to get started with the role.

Thank you for volunteering for Butterfly Conservation. Sharing you interest and passion for butterflies and moths with others is such a vital part of our work.

If you are running an event and wish to ask participants to book onto it, we recommend using Eventbrite.  We have produced a user guide and training video to help support you with this.
