
Annulet
A rather obscurely marked grey moth, which has a freckled appearrance. Generally larger than the Annulet, which also has a less pointed forewing. Sometimes found by day at rest on rocks and stone walls, and can be disturbed by day. Flies from dusk and after dark.
Yellow Saxifrage and other saxifrages, stonecrops, Heather, Bell Heather, Cross-leaved Heath, and Petty Whin. Probably also on other small plants.
Frequents mountains and moorlands especially where there is exposed rock, such as in gullies and old quarries. Has also been found on a rocky shoreline.
