The field trip to Shouldham Warren on Saturday found 8 of us on a perfect, sunny and warm spring day at this new site to all of us. Three of them lived nearby as well.

We saw several small coppers and orange tips and noticed plenty of sorrel and garlic mustard, which are the food plants for these two butterflies. We also saw several large red damsel flies

and four spot chaser dragonflies along the dyke. Our last find of the trip was a green Hairstreak. We found 10 different species of butterflies in total and think this site would be worth another visit in the summer.
