Springburn Park, Glasgow
- Anthony McCluskey
A new wildflower meadow for insects has been created at Springburn Park in Glasgow, and we'd love your help to manage it! During the autumn and winter months we manage it by sowing wildflower seeds, cutting and removing vegetation and planting new wildflowers. Through the spring and summer, volunteers can help by removing weeds, picking litter and keeping a record of any insects using the meadow.
This opportunity does not require any previous experience, and full training will be given. There is good access to the meadow as it is adjacent to public paths in the park.

This meadow was created as part of the Helping Hands for Butterflies Project, which is generously funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and NatureScot.
