The Marsh Fritillary is one of the UK's most threatened butterfly species, but can still be found in special grasslands throughout Wales, especially in the West and South-west.

Populations of this species can be monitored by counting the adults in summertime or the webs that the larvae make in late summer. Volunteers are needed to help with these tasks. To find out more, please contact our Wales Conservation Support Officer Judy Burroughs at @email
