Farmland

  • Butterflies and Farmland: Farmland is the main habitat for over three-quarters of British butterflies. This factsheet provides habitat advice on how to help more general and widespread butterflies and moths on the farm. The factsheet contains advice on managing grassland, arable fields, hedges, verges, green lanes, woodlands and scrub.
