We are looking for a small number of Engagement Volunteers to support our Big City Butterflies team at the Lambeth Country Show on the 16th and 17th of July. For more details on this fantastic event that celebrates the very best of both the city and the countryside visit their website: Lambeth Country Show | Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 July 2022. You will play a key role in helping to introduce people to the fascinating world of butterflies and moths and show them how they can help them in their local green spaces.

Butterfly Conservation aims to create a world where butterflies and moths are enjoyed by everyone, forever. If you are a skilled communicator we would love your help to inspire the next generation and connect them to nature.

We are excited to announce that we are looking to recruit Events Volunteers to help with the public engagement work carried out at Fineshade Wood, other Rockingham Forest sites and the local community.

Our Events Volunteers help the butterflies and people on their doorstep. They help to connect people to their local wildlife, encouraging people to take action for butterflies and moths.

The Marsh Fritillary is one of our most threatened butterfly species, with the stronghold of the species Scottish range in mainland Argyll and the surrounding islands.

The Marsh Fritillary is one of our most threatened butterfly species, but can still be found in special grasslands in Northern Ireland and ROI, particularly in counties Fermanagh and Tyrone.
